The Centre is involved in active partnerships and links with other suitable organisations like Bradford Council and Baildon Town Council. We are supported by grants from a variety of funders and offer our services at a low and often subsidised price.
The Centre was set up by The Church of England’s Parish of Baildon in 1993 as a response to the particular needs experienced by residents in this part of Baildon. The Centre employs one part-time Community Development Worker who oversees the day-to-day running of the Centre, organises the activities and sources funding. A body of volunteers runs groups and helps with fund-raising fairs. The Centre is overseen by a Management Committee who, in turn, report to the PCC.
